Is it rude for me to ask how much money you're making? Sorry, but stepping lightly around this topic isn't going to do you, or me, or any of the other VAs who undercharge any good.

I'm asking, but I already know the answer probably lands somewhere around 'Not as much as you'd like.'
Am I right?

If you're making as much money as you'd like and you don't see value in raising your rates, then don't bother reading the rest of my email. BUT, if you're not charging enough and although you want to raise your rates, you're too anxious to do so for fear of losing the income that you do have then keep reading.

I totally get that fear and anxiety, by the way. I've been there. More than once.

But here's the thing: continuing to undercharge for your services and skills will ultimately lead to burnout, exhaustion, stress, feelings of failure, financial issues, and even resentment.
