IT. IS. TIME. To raise your rates... Here's how

Posted 06-30-2015 at 03:05 AM by Tess
We've been on a roll with these fabulous, fun, and FREE webinars for Virtual Assistant Forums members - I've been having a blast hand-picking the guests and I hope you've been taking notes and are implementing what you've been learning. Even if it's just one tip, or a whole list of things to work on - these webinars require you to TAKE ACTION in your business, because that's what VAs are all about, right? Making things happen!

Well, in about two weeks Lisa Wells will be back with us for another webinar (you can register, for FREE, right here), exclusively for VAF members (like always!) but this time, instead of talking about how to create packages we're going to talk about how to gracefully raise your rates AND handle the transition with existing clients. And let me tell you - IT. IS. TIME.

Time for YOU to raise your rates, that is.

Why haven't you done it yet? Well, you’ve probably heard both of the following statements either on the forums, or elsewhere - and there IS a good dollop of truth in each:

---> If you price your services too low, you will attract abusive, needy or greedy clients.

---> If you price them too high, no one will buy.

Is that you? Are you stuck – not doing anything for fear that you will attract the wrong clients or lose the clients that you have?

I know first-hand that not earning what you’re worth can cause stress, resentment and just suck the joy out of working for yourself. That’s not a fun place to be.

Raising your rates is a good way to boost your confidence and gain respect. You’ll feel better about yourself, you’ll be more motivated to do your work and clients will look at you differently.

Not only that, but the longer you wait to raise your rates the more money you’re losing out on.

Let us help you… Join me and Lisa on Tuesday, July 14th at 5 pm PT for a free webinar on How to Gracefully Announce and Handle a Rate Increase with Clients.

We’ll talk about:
• Why you absolutely should raise your rates right now
• Common pricing mistakes VAs make and what to do about them
• How to tell your clients about the rate change

Look, here's the truth about being a VA that no one tells you: Not every client is a good fit. But if you let those poorly fitting clients who don’t’ want to pay your rates take over your time and your business you'll wind up hating what you do. And I'm certain that's not why you started your business, is it?

Join us!

Yes we’ll be recording the call but I strongly encourage you to attend live if at all possible because Lisa is known for some cool giveaways that you can only get if you're actually on the call. If you can’t make it on July 14th though, you will receive access to the replay soon after the call concludes.

Looking forward to it!
