To be quite honest I’ve never actually considered writing one of these for my business. I have one of my own posted up on my blog Evolution Parenting but writing a bucketlist, although really simple to do, was something I had not even considered for my business.

Until now.


I am a fan of the facebook page and website “Run Your Business Life” a page about having a life while running your business. I know for most of us this concept is alien since our lives are literally invested in our business ventures. However this site is a refreshing reminder that we need to step back and take a breather every now and then or we’re likely to go insane.


So they challenged us to make a business bucketlist and I thought I’d have a go. So here’s mine! If you have one – please feel to share yours on their facebook page.


I’ve have these in my head for quite awhile and while I am slowly working toward making these happen it’s actually nice to see them written down. I’d like to revisit these one day and cross them off. We’ll see. Until then, have fun with yours!

1. Earn enough and have enough regular clients to be able to move to New Zealand
2. Earn enough to be able to live comfortably in New Zealand
3. Be able to take my family away for a holiday once a year
4. Run a successful business and help my husband to do the same
5. Write one business/marketing related ebook
6. Turn my business into a brand
7. Have my own swanky office in the city
8. Successfully turn the things I am good at and love to do – into business ventures (in progress)
9. Go on an overseas business trip to the USA (don’t ask me why – but I do love the idea of working in another country for a small amount of time) and have my virtual office be a random cafe in New York for a day.
10. Be able to work as an actor part time – while still having my own business
