Great Interview, Kylie!

It is amazing how you do not look for something and the VA business just lands on you. My business also started that way, I was doing bookkeeping for a comapny and they referred me to their friends and here I am today.

Thank you Kylie, I think we all need to work on the self-esteem part. It gets better and better as you land more clients. But definitely something to work on.

Best wishes!!

Thank you for sharing with us the struggles you had to face and the realization that you are not an employee anymore but a business owner. That is a mindset that most people who come from the workforce has to break.

Congratulations to you and more power to your business!

Thank you Kylie for sharing your experiences so candidly.

I have gained a lot of from your story. I especially love the part about "not a show house". I believe that having some sort of work-life balance and spending time with your family is far more important than having a museum for a house. Clean and tidy is surely enough!

Also I appreciate you sharing your actions with your client and the way that it is necessary to "take yourself seriously". We are in business and our policies and operating procedures are highly important. I will definitely remember to have strength and "put my big girl boots on" in these situations if they arise for me in the future.

Thanks again and all the best for your continued success.

Congratulations on your nomination.

Debra

Ohhh Kylie congratulations to you and what a wonderful inspiration you are to someone totally new and just starting off, you have made me feel stronger and the tips you have given are invaluable, just because we are newbie VA's doesn't mean we need to scrape the bottom of the barrell, lol. Thanks again, Jenne

Great interview. Very helpful with the questions to show us newbies what to expect and how to overcome certain obstructions. Thanks for the good reading.

Kylie,

Great interview!
I will definitely imply a strict payment policy, it's necessary. Although I'm nervous at times I know it's needed to build a business, I mean is crucial!
