Anyone have a simple subcontractor agreement? Also, I would like information on outsourcing blog posts to a subcontractor. Specifically, do you usually charge per post or per word and why?

When I've hired bloggers or article writers I tweaked a Ghostwriter Contract for my purposes - included the work specs including word count if that was part of the assignment and number of pieces required if it's more than one. I've worked with writers who charged by the hour but always prefer a per-piece price so I know what I'm budgeting.

I also always include a strict confidentiality clause, a clause about copyright ownership, plus I keep the ghostwriting clause (explains that the author will not be credited and cannot use the piece elsewhere - including in their portfolio.)
