A quick suggestion! When you "like" someone's business FB page, post a little something on their wall to say "hi" and include a link to your business FB page. It's a little advertising for you, plus it helps the owner of that page easily "like" your business FB page back! Since we have to "like" a business FB page as our personal FB profile instead of the business one, the owner of the page you're liking may not recognize your personal name in connection with your business name!

Linda, that was a really great tip in regard to the privacy settings. I didn't realize that liking a page using my business page didn't really count. I will go back and relike all of you as Patty so that my like counts .

Pam, that was also a great suggestion on writing a note on the person's wall so that they know you have liked them.

A tip to increase your "Likes". If you belong to a number of groups on LinkedIn go to each one and search the posts for facebook. Some groups have a thread where you can post your page URL, they like you and you like them back. If you still have the ugly URL (which I do) go to Bitly, shorten it and use that. It works and it looks so much better.

It's very time consuming, posting, thanking and liking back and forth but it's worthwhile and you get to meet great people, interact with them and see wonderful content on other pages.
