Virtually yours - Not necessarily. Depends on if you are self-hosting, and even then if you want to just utilize whatever the WordPress template has to offer, as is, you don't need coding. However, it would be beneficial for anyone to learn at least some basic HTML & CSS...and maybe there are other languages as well (Tess is the expert)

but knowing at least some will give you ability to tweak things a bit more. Also, if you want to go even more advanced you can purchase for a very reasonable cost, templates such as Headway or Thesis.
