Default Re: Making postcards
I create my own postcards in Microsoft PUblisher and then upload them to VistaPrint for printing. VistaPrint is very affordable. They come out fabulous. Publisher had postcard templates that are standard and post office compliant. I create my own mailing lists of people and/or industries I want to target and work with. I love doing transcription for mental health professionals so I have one mailing list that is comprised of psychologists, psychiatrists, clinics, mental health counselors, social workers, etc. I am creating a seriies of postcards that I plan to send to the list on a monthly basis. When my budget is tight, I mail about 10 postcards a week until I get through the list and then start it over again.

Hi. I am getting ready to send out my first batch of postcards. Can you tell me how successful this has been for you. My husband seems to think that they will wind up in the trash so I am wasting money and time. Also, I used staples copy & print service to get my business cards the same day, and they offer postcards. It seems to me to be about the same price as vista print or doing myself with cost of card stock and ink. But I also only ordered 100 cards and had them printed in color with my business logo so perhaps that is why the cost comparison seemed close.

Thanks
