I use Avery 8387 Postcards. There are 4 to a page - 200 cards in each box.

The template is already in Word, so it works out great!

Good luck!

I use Vista Print, they usually give them away for free about once a week and all you have to do is pay for shipping and if you're just getting the postcards then shipping is usually less than $10 and that's for 250 postcards! Also you can design them the way you want and add your logo and text, it's very easy to do and they ship them pretty quickly even if you choose the slower and cheaper shipping method.

I used Vista Print for my business cards, and was quite happy with them. At the time they also had a great deal on business cards magnets which I think are fun! My brochures I did myself using Publisher, and I like em! I plan on doing postcards next and am still debating on doing them myself or checking out Vista again.

Those of you that print your own, what do you have for an all-in-one machine, I deperately need a new one!

I made my own postcards using MS Word and had OfficeMax print them (2-color) on card stock and cut them for me.

I used my business card on the back side as my return address with a 'cut this out and keep it for future reference' under a dotted line that outlined the business card. I sent the cards in November and was hired in February by a client that cut out my card and kept it until ready to use my services.

I also have printed my own postcards, business cards, flyers and brochures. I purchased an inkjet and a laserjet printer. The problem I had was that the cost of the ink in printing these yourself is very pricey. So I have designed the materials myself using photoshop or publisher and then saved the file and emailed it to my local OfficeDepot. They offer discounts to small businesses in printing and has worked out pretty well. Also, they are able to print on a heavier card stock so the postcards are more sturdy when mailing. I believe the last time I had them print 50 postcards for me it was about $40. When I priced the ink I was using to print these postcards, PLUS the paper I was purchasing, it was cheaper for me to use Office Depot than print myself.

What does anyone else do for marketing? I welcome any suggestions! Thanks

I like to pick out the stamps for the post cards. The post office has many designs, some are quite stunning. Little touches make big differences.

I usually buy cardstock and make my own but Vistaprint had an offer for free postcards recently that I got - you only pay for shipping (about $6). I think it was for 100 postcards.

I also make my own postcards with postcard stock. It's easy to do and you can put on it anything you want.

Unfortunately with the Visaprint free ones you get what you pay for - in other words, yes they're free but they don't do your image any favours.

Personally I always use moo.com (moo.co.uk if you're not in the US) - fabulous quality and not too expensive either. You can design your own or choose from the pre-designed packs which can be customised with your logo etc.
