There are a lot of things that are important to a VA business in attracting clients, one of the most important being a blog. Blogging is a big part of a lot of businesses now, but more so for Virtual Assistants. Here are some reasons why it is so important.

A lot of clients like to have blogs written about some aspect of the business they are in, be it real estate, business or fashion design but they may not know anything about writing them. VA' s can do this task for them and both the client and the VAbenefit in different ways. VA's can get publicity for their work and the clients have more time to focus on their core business.

It can attract publicity for events. If there is a big event happening in the client's area, a blog can give more details about the event as well as contact information. The key is making sure that all the information is current. It would not be good to write about an event that took place 2 months ago, unless you were doing a review of it

The most important reason for blogging is to increase SEO for websites. The more often you blog, the higher your website appears in search engines. Search engines look at this as being current and relevant , and will give you a higher rating in searches. How often should you blog? That is all dependent upon your needs. Ideally, weekly or bi-monthly are best, but you could blog as often as you want. The more often you do it, the more current your site appears and you maintain a higher visibiilty.

Blogging is important for many reasons and there are others that I have not mentioned .
