I just received an email via VA4U from a supposed Reverend as follows:

Message:
Greeting in the name of the Lord,
Our church is looking for a competent, efficient and experience transcriptionist to transcribe our audio sermon to text. Please contact me if you are interested.
Rev.Yu Hao

I checked the website for the Church (in Texas) and it lists, with pictures, all ministers and staff ... no sign or mention of this person - Red Flag

I'm not particularly religious but doesn't a pastor write or type out his sermon so he can read it at service? - Red Flag

Poor grammar - Red flag.

Oh and they have a pretty big office staff as well, so why not do it in house?

I'm pretty sure it's a scam but I'll send it to the head pastor for verification and let you know what I find out.

Lynne
