Hi, I have just finished my website and am anxious to get some feedback. Some days I think it is too wordy, then other days I like it. Then I worry about it looking to amateurish. I have now looked at it for too long and can't see the woods for the trees!
I too am in the process of developing my website. I think your content looks great, but you may want to consider adding a few more graphics, especially in the areas where there is a lot of empty white space. Good luck!
The website is decent, however I always suggest that my clients don't do their website in flash (like yours) for many reasons. It doesn't translate on to smart phones as effectively, it's not as good for SEO, and forget about it loading properly on many apple products.
Your current design could easily translate into a static page or even a wordpress format, you might want to check that out instead.
Many thanks for your comments. The website was designed using moonfruit but with the idea that as my business grew and funds became available, I could invest in a professionally designed site at a later date. Perhaps I need to have a look at Wordpress in the mean time.
Following the advice given, I have added backgrounds to each page rather than leaving them white. How do you think it looks?
I have also considered the Flash issue. Moonfruit now convert your website into text only version for use specifically by non flash equipment. I have had a look at my site on the iphone and blackberry and don't think the text version looks too bad. Do you think people would be put off by only seeing a text version?
The only two suggestions I'd make is your page title isn't keyword specific and also I wouldn't put my email address on the page. This causes you to get spammed too easily. Have a contact form but don't just put email address on page. Site looks good. Congrats!
