I finally got my website finished and a mobile version done as well. I wanted to know if I could get some feedback from you guys. I'm still working on the mobile redirect script for the mobile site. Let me know what you think good or bad, please. Thanks guys.
Tiffany,
I briefly looked at your website and I really like the feel of it, the colors and content. I will go back with more time and thoroughly review it.
Best of luck. Exciting times when the website goes up.
Vivian

on you page pricing on the bottom the "follow me" on facebook link only goes to facebook not your profile but your website looks great and also what are you using to create the mobile site?

Overall your site is okay however I can offer these few suggestions.
You should move your social media buttons and contact information to the top of the page.
I am finding your text a little hard to read on the background.
HOME:
Your second paragraph on your home page is a little redundant with your benefits below. I also am a little confused as to why I should choose you over others. Most looking for a VA already know about the savings on office space, taxes and benefits, etc. But why should I choose you over the many others.
I get that the images are for visual interest but you really should try to tie them in with the rest of your site. Clickable images would be a great way to do this.
ABOUT:
This page should be about you. Why should I trust you. What have you done in your career that would support my wanting to use your skills.
Personally I would lose the VA definition here and replace it with some copy of why the skills you have can help me the business owner. I would also summarize your "resume" and then send them to connect with you on LinkedIn where I would put all these details.
SERVICES:
Not liking the images with the descriptions. They look like they were just added to break up the text with no thought to it. If nothing else I would add a table and place the information in the cells so that there is some visual continuity.
PRICING:
Love you pricing page. It marries visual with the information in an easy to understand format.
BLOG:
I am just not getting this. It is more of a timeline of your work however you give no insight into the nuts and bolts of your changes. Also it looks as if your blog is in a table format instead of post format. I am assuming this allows no way to include an RSS feed for your blog.
Good job so far and your site will always (or should always) be a work in progress. I am just curious if you are using a builder program or is this straight HTML?
Tiffany, in general the site is good. Here are a few comments on things that I saw:
1. I found the background distracting as it made it hard to read the text. Something to think about because you only have a few seconds to grab a potential client's attention.
2. Instead of your C.V., have you thought about adding testimonials instead? It's just that you're not an employee anymore but seeing that could make people think that way instead of seeing you as a businesss owner.
3. I really like the payment options you provide and the layout. I especially like the "Pay your invoice online" button, it's really clever.
Thanks everyone for your feedback. It's nice to have an outside opinion from different people. I've made some changes to most of the pages, but I'm still working on the 'About' page. Any additional comments on the changes would be appreciated.
The site has a good start to it. Is there a way to change the colors maybe of the pages to have it stand out more like the pricing page colors? This way it will be more pleasing to the reader looking at it. As we all know with websites it is constantly a work in progress but you have a good foundation to it so far.
