The cost, you might ask? A whopping $9.95!

The course is two weeks, but you have access to everything for a year. I'm pretty sure I can go at my own pace too, but I have to get further into it to know for sure. And the instructor dude has a really cool Aussie accent.

Hope I learn something worthwhile and didn't toss $9.95 in the toilet!
Wow!!! What a wonderful resource!! I am glad to find this post. I really want to learn to build a website from scratch. And this will come in handy. Thanks for sharing this

I have found Lynda.com to be so helpful over the past few years. I did a monthly subscription because I thought I wouldn't use it much - but I spent all of my spare time of there taking copious notes and learning so many things about such a huge range of programs. I found their Dreamweaver and CSS to be very useful, although that was probably a year or so ago now. I may have to revisit them and check out some of the new topics. I also listened to their podcast and they would have a free trial at the end...although obviously I doubt you can use this more than once per email registration ;p

Word of warning - if you try and use one of those tools for grabbing the video to download lots of videos quickly, you will get a warning and be deregistered if you continue without good cause (I think the person was using a Firefox addon). The videos are not meant to be copied - they have a shop that you can purchase them from.

Thanks for the resource. I've been wanting to learn html5, but haven't gotten around to it. For 10 bucks, I don't see how you can go wrong either.
