I just did the typing test on Typeracer and got 93 WPM with 98.8% accuracy. And that was with gel nails lol.

Wow! I really need to brush up some. I typed 67 wpm with 99% accuracy. I used to be able to type 80 something wpm with 99% accuracy.

Hi Denyse,
Good going!
Thanks for the link to this site. I was able to recommend it to a friend who'd like to work on her typing.

WOW some of you put me to shame.. I thought 70 wpm at 98% accuracy was really good.. But now that I see you all .... I do not know anymore!

But thank you for sharing that with us, I love typing tests.

I don't know why I didn't mention this before, but this link http://www.typingweb.com/tutor/courses/ has a full out typing class and tests. It is FREE to take the class and you take it at your leisure and redo any part of it that you want at anytime. I use it for practice when I have time or if I feel I am not typing as much as I should be to keep me from losing my speed. After you take the typing test so many times (5x's I think) you can get a certificate, but they do cost. It's a great course and really comprehensive. It also allows for you to choose your level. You do not have to start at the beginning. You can skip around if you want.

The last few years I have been doing data entry of basically numbers and letters (not words) and quite limited (usually nine characters and infrequently up to 35 characters). So, I was quite pleased that my speed while lower (75/0) was acceptable for my, hopefully, soon-to-be new needs.
