I found this interesting article comparing various web-based collaborative applications. There were a few I never heard of before and figured I would share so we can also share our thoughts on the ever expanding choices.

I've only used Basecamp and MyClientSpot. After using Basecamp for nearly 12 months I finally made the switch to MyClientSpot. I prefer it because anything you suggest to Dave to implement - he implements it. It's designed specifically for the Virtual Assistant industry and I'm loving it even more then I loved Basecamp.

The key to using anything like this is to use it regularly otherwise its a waste of time and money.

Thanks for sharing this article. It's interesting to see how many different types of project management and online collaboration sites there are. It would have been cool if they'd mentioned Client Spot as that would have brought some press to our industry- especially that we have something designed with VAs in mind.

I also looked at the comments where a couple more were mentioned. With so many options it seems like you could find anything that would suit you and your clients in so many different ways.

I don't use any of the programs listed (or any not listed for that matter

) but when I was approached by MyClientSpot about advertising and getting the members involved in giving feedback about the product I took a look at it and liked what I saw, even at that early stage.

Kylie hit on one very crucial aspect of why MyClientSpot is so good - Dave, the architect, literally does take the feedback of VAs using his service and work to add the requested features. You can't ask for more personalized service from any of those other 'big guys'!
