Nice to meet you! Thanks for the welcome. So, how long have you been a VA? I'm really new to the VA program however I have 15+ years experience in the administrative field. Do you have any advise for those just getting started? Where do I go to search for jobs? I need all the advise I can get!
I incorporated in 2005 while I was still employed with a government agency. I went off on my own, full-time, in 2007.
There are a couple things that I harp on all the time. Get yourself deprogrammed from employee mode into business owner mode, and READ. Read quality books on marketing. I'm all about Guerrilla Marketing by Jay Conrad Levinson, especially for start-ups.
Read this forum thoroughly. Because, most of your questions are going to be answered within these threads.
Network with those you already know and attend business events to meet potential clients. Rule no one out.

Hello, Just checking in to see if there's anyone from WV. I'm about 2 hours or so from Martinsburg in Davis, WV (I was raised in Frederick, MD). I'm hoping to move to Clarksburg, WV in the fall which will put me about 4 hours or so from Martinsburg.
