Thanks Yvonne It's definitely a *long* story, lol (India was great, but such an extended stay )
And yes, couldn't imagine a day without him! We talk often about how our business wouldn't exist without one or the other of us - we rely totally on eachother to manage the growth. It's such a blessing. But with or without the business, he's my absolute favorite person on the planet, easily...and I'd do it all over again.

I bet!! I hope one day my husband & I will share our business together and work together once it is established. That'll be neat. For now - he is working overtime at his job while I'm staying at home with our children and working to get started as VA. It would be so nice if my business grew to the point where he can quit his job and work with me or go back to college - whichever he desires.

That is wonderful Tess. I too work with my husband. Although he has a full time job, he works very hard with me on our business in the evenings and weekends.

I love that this type of business situation is becoming more common - it's *got* to be a good thing overall for our society, not to mention the individuals involved. Michelle, your husband sounds like a dedicated and very hardworking man

Tess - this is so true "Believe in yourself *and* check your ideas at the door about what it is to run a business. Accept that it is a learning process and is going to present some challenges, this is *not* the kind of work so many people envision (''someone sitting around at home with an internet connection and nothing better to do”) it's SO much more than that and deserves to be taken seriously"

Being a VA means you are a business owner. There is so much more to this than just getting the work done for the client. That being said, I love what I do! I love the work I do, the clients I work with and the other VAs I've gotten to know over the years.

Me too and to think it was all just an experiment of sorts at the start...amazing what comes into our experience at the right time/place, etc.

We truly are part of an amazing revolution that's changing the way people do business, interact, and think about the internet. There's also a healthy does of gratitude for all of this that I didn't mention - I carry that with me every day...
