Oh Wow!

First of all I didn't know you were the founder of the forum!
You're amazing and I'm sure you have a lot of good Karma your way! :-)

Your interview is inspiring, specially to aspiring VA's that don't have as much background as the other VA's in the other interviews.

Thank you!

Hi Tess,

Thank you for sharing your story, which is amazing and awesome! I often laugh when I tell people that I met my husband on the radio - after all, if I can meet someone over the radio, then you never know what could happen - and where. Your story is yet another example. How sweet!

In addition, it is encouraging to know that VA service can travel anywhere and be successful. You lead by example!

Thanks for the wonderful forum!

Jolene

Great Interview! I wish I would have had that option 29 years ago but we have come so far in technology that I can do it now. We can now work the same hours. I stop when he comes home. : ) And I could have seen more of my children. Thanks for a great interview.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to post back and say thank you for keeping this thread alive all this time (wow!!)

Althea - weekends are so important, so are evenings. I didn't always have it that good though and have worked many a late night. Yes, it is so nice to get to the point where you don't have to do that anymore.

Excellence - I'm actually really glad to hear that you didn't realize I was the founder - I prefer it that way simply because I want this site to be about the VAs who make it a community, not just about one person.

Jolene - I'd be very interested to hear the story of how you met your husband! Feel free to post back and share if you like

All I can say is wow.
I've always liked being able to contribute to the success of others, and what you have started, literally from nothing, has got to have had an impact heard round the world. Literally.
Thank you for showing us the way, and proving that it can be done.

I'm just thinking...what took me soooo... long! What took me so long to read your story, the founder of VAF. Wow Tess, reading your interview really touched my heart and empowered me to strive for success...to never give up and to know that my resources are endless. Where there is an Internet connection, there is a way...

1 year from now when someone asks me what I love about being a professional VA I plan to have the same response as you...

I have already enjoyed reading my own script & MAN I have done a lot of improvising on the spot...LOL & it has been fun fun fun...only happy thoughts!! I have already scored a client & really promising potential client today.

Always wishing you much love & success in all that you do. Thanks for taking the time to build a community that will forever help people like me. I started my business on Oct 1st, only 15 days from when I was going to be laid off from my employer and will have made over $800 in MY BUSINESS in less than a month...I honestly feel like 90% of my success has stemmed from the individuals that I have learned from on VAF. Reading and putting into action that information!! I will be a success story and I look forward to growing...just keep an eye out for me Tess!! I do plan to give back to VAF too!! (sorry I was feeling very inspired...LOL)

Lynne, you're sweet to say that and I appreciate more than you know the positive impact VAF has on other peoples' lives. I am selfish too though, I love being around successful people and this is a great place to do just that!

Thanks Deb, the love story is my favorite part

Jessie, you absolutely can find success - there is literally nothing standing in your way!

Crystal, congrats on an amazing start to your own success story! It sounds like you are in a great place right now - all good energy and focus... hang onto that and keep me posted on how things go for you this year, I'll look forward to seeing you make a name for yourself

Thanks Dixie Lee I am so blessed to be surrounded by hard working entrepreneurs like you!
