Hi CortniM,
You can start your VA business when you know that you have the time to commit to it. It's all about pacing yourself and not getting overwhelmed. As you said, you can go part-time when the kids come and build up as they grow. I've also seen a number of VAs who had thriving businesses before having kids, for e.g. Tess (VAF owner/admin) and they are now navigating managing their businesses and growing families.
Wishing you the absolute best.

I noticed that you said you started your VA business after your kids were a bit older. Do you think it would have been possible to be a VA at least part time when your kids were younger? I'm hoping to start my VA business now and then maybe take it down to part time when I have a baby...
