6/2008 Interview with Shari Sultana of Modern Marketing Support - Page 2 - Virtual Assistant Forums

I loved reading your interview, Shari! And kudos to your interviewer for asking such interesting questions.

Hearing from VAs who've built successful businesses gives hope to those who are still in the early stages. You've also given me some great ideas - I've been interested in specializing in internet marketing for a while now but am not as knowledgeable in eMarketing techniques as I'd like to be. I had no idea where to turn to learn these skills; I didn't know there was an eMarketing Association! The eCourses they offer look amazing, and I think I'm going to become a member. Thanks so much for the information!

Shari-

Great interview, thanks for sharing. I always look forward to reading the interview of the month

. I agree with moving your workstation from the dining table to a more conducive location.

I learned a lot from the courses but if you're looking for actual skills to add to your list of services you might want to try out the VA Classroom $1 7 day membership. They have an ad here at the forums. I tried it out last week but cancelled after a day when I realized they were teaching stuff I already knew. However, I wish they were teaching this last year because they've got some great stuff there. The cost of joining them for 10 months is the same to join the eMA and you get so much more. Try VA Classroom for a week and if you don't like it you can cancel your membership. I think you'll find it helpful though.

Just my 2 cents

(oh, and thanks for your kind words about my interview.

Hi Shari,

Thank you so very much for the advice! I'd still been thinking about joining eMarketing Association, mostly for the courses, but I'm going to check into VA Classroom to see what they have to offer first. Thanks again!
