Sue,

Thanks so much for sharing your ideas.

In the early '90's, I spent two weeks in Ireland touring the entire country. It is a magical place. I love Ireland! I hope to get back again some day. Of course, with my last name being Sullivan, it might explain my love for the country.

Great interview. I have never been to Ireland, but I know that it is a beautiful place. Sue, it's great to see that you are setting goals for your business, I'm pretty sure that you will be able to quadruple your business.

Thanks Sue and Mary - I finally had time to read the interview. Its nice to hear more details about you and your business Sue. I too work with my husband (He started his business in 2006) and he is also my best friend. Now that his business is doing well, I decided to start my own VA Business. Thanks for sharing. Janine Raj.

It was great reading this article. I am just getting started and very nervous but strangely also very excited about the future. I love spending time with my family and I think working as a VA offers parents the best of both worlds.

Thanks Mary for asking great questions to get such inspiring information from Sue. Sue, thank you for sharing your story with all of us. I appreciate the advice that needing to know how to run a business is very important, as well as getting tax help from a professional. I'm looking forward to my copy of your & Joel's book, "The Commonsense Virtual Assistant - Becoming an Entrepreneur, not an Employee." (http://awesomeassistant.info/cva/) And of course, the ultimate - to be able to run your business from Ireland. How truly exciting! I do wish you the very best!!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. Annette, thanks for mentioning our upcoming book.

We were just discussing this morning further details we need to nail down to make our move to Ireland, hopefully this next year.

I also just had an hour-long conversation with another woman working towards becoming a VA. She's a student taking an online virtual office professional course and will be writing up an interview she did of me. I really enjoying helping other people and in particular other women getting started in business.
