Just starting out...what are the forms you used most often? Re. Contracts? Agreements? Proposals? etc... I would like to get everything in order so I am not scrambling when I have a few clients.

You can access the free Document Library - Free Contracts and Forms right here on Virtual Assistant Forums for a great sampling of what you'll need. I'd say a good start would be to have a formal contract, a more informal letter of agreement, and an NDA in place.

It is great to read everyone's posts on this website. I am currently filing for my business name and I am getting ready to start marketing my business.

Any tips or pointers for a virtual assistant that is starting out new in this line of work would be greatly appreciated.

I would say we have a big advantage, the internet, it is free, everyone uses it, try marketing your services there, most important, use the right words. Everyone is busy, it must really capture their attention immediately, they must think...Wow, this sounds almost too good to be true. good luck, I'm also starting now, but this is what i know so far.
