I have been visiting makeuseof.com for 2-3 years, now, and have found it to be a wonderful resource for web apps, software, and services.

They only post info on apps/software/services that have either a free or low-cost version (in addition to varied-price packages). Their team of writers evaluates and writes a review of each site, often with helpful hints, screenshots, etc.

I have found many tools, that I now use, through their site.

I get many of the resources that I share from makeuse. The evaluations and reviews are the best and that is how I choose what I am passing along. Many times they will compare it to other products and you can find additional comparable applications.

Agreed.

Make Use Of is a fine resource; I subscribe to it in google reader. I especially love the daily "cool websites and tools" column. There's almost always something useful introduced or a website app that I'd not heard of.

oh wow! thanks so much for posting about makeuseof.com. I've just liked their facebook page and there is so much interesting and useful information on the site!!
