I wrote a post about QR Codes and I was wondering if there are any other VAs incorporating them into their marketing campaigns?

Great post, LaTosha. I'm such a homebody that I don't even have a smart phone. But I do believe QR codes are the MOST amazing invention! Truly a game changer. Thanks for this thoughtful analysis.

I love QR codes. I use them on my brochures, PDFs etc. and I recently purchased a branded 4x4 spare wheel cover which has a QR code on it.

Thanks bridiej and Lee! I am a huge fan of them. They especially come in handy in the event when you don't have pen and paper. Just scan them and go. Bridiej, very cool idea with the spare wheel cover. Very creative!

That is a really neat idea--using a QR code for the spare wheel cover. Love it!

The only problem I have with conventional QR Codes is that once they've been printed, that's it. If you use dynamic qr codes then at least you can update the content (video, texts, links etc) anytime you like without having to re-print the Code

I want to use QR Code but I do not know a reliable place to generate one, Also I have smart phone but no scanner so I can not test it out. I do not want to add it to my marketing and it does not work. Any suggestions?

We love the QR Code and will incorporate it in our marketing. We found a website on the internet where we generated the code for free and are about to include it in our brochures and the back of our business cards. We have smart phones and downloaded the scanner application, so we could test our QR Code. To our surprise the code worked when we scanned it. It took us to our website. Unfortunately we had already printed our brochures when we found out about QR codes but we are getting around that by printing our code on a clear label and inserting it on the back of our brochures. Hopefully it will attract traffic to our website as we are a new VA business.

Nanjik, in addition to the sites that I mentioned in my post, check out http://qrcode.kaywa.com/. What type of smartphone do you have? The majority of them have applications. You won't be able to test your code without one.

Marianah, I also can't wait to finish up my business cards so I can add a QR code to my marketing collateral as well.
