Something I didn't know when I first created my Facebook page, so I thought it might be a good idea to mention... if you're "liking" a business page, make sure you "like" it as you, your personal profile, not as your business. If you "like" as your business, the "like" count will not increase for that person's business FB page.
I'm always afraid Im gonna use the wrong account for the wrong thing. lol Im always checking for that bar that pops up that says "You are using facebook as..."

That is good to know. Although I don't really want people or potential clients being directed to my personal page. Which is why I developed my business page..hmmm i'll have to give that some thought.
Tanya, even if you like a business page as your personal FB account profile, no one can see your personal FB account profile unless they're your friends, or unless you have your security/privacy settings so that people other than your friends can see your personal profile. Just keep your privacy/security set so that only your friends can see your personal profile information and you'll be fine.
Just a question. If I like a business page with my personal account profile, how do I stop all my friends on my personal account seeing that I like the business pages? And if I want the business likes on my business page, do I have to 'like' someone twice, once for my business page and once with my personal account for them to have the like counted?
