Ok, this is a three part post:

First go read this: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives...tters_list.php

It's about a new Twitter directory that Kevin Rose (Digg Founder) has come up with. While I agree with many of the points in this post regarding popularity lists and how unnecessary they really are, I do think that it will serve all of us to go and get listed in this directory with the tag #virtualassistant. I just checked the link below and there are currently only five VAs listed. So, this becomes yet another place where you can post your Twitter ID and get listed and get found!

http://wefollow.com/tag/virtualassistant

When you click on the button, "Add Yourself to WeFollow" be sure you are also already logged into Twitter as this will bring up your Twitter page with a reply to @wefollow and you will need to add your three tags. I recommend listing your most important first (probably #virtualassistant and then two others for two other categories you might like to be listed in.) You might also want to see what categories are already listed to see which ones you might like to be listed in.

If you have any questions, let me know.

fabulous!! thx I listed myself. great resource.

Thank you, Kimberly! Great advice!!

Hi Kimberley,

thx for the info. I had done the we follow yesterday, but I see that there are only 7 VA's listed, and neither you nor I are there. Any idea how to get this accomplished?

I'll keep looking, and if I find anything I'll post back here.

I just added also, I am guessing that it takes a little time... check it later to see if your listed.

Shelley Halpain,

Thanks so much for this info. I just added myself so we will see!!

Check it again, I'm listed and so are many others from the forums. It probably just takes a bit to update.

That is a wonderful place! I have used twellow.com before and this is wonderful!!! Just signed up!!

Fabulous!! Wow, there is so many fun things out there. This will be great to be able to follow more VAs. Plus, hopefully pick up some more followers. Kelly and I are having a contest to see who gets to 2000 first. She always wins, but we sure have fun doing things like this.

That's great! I reached 2000 followers FAST but that's because I am addicted to chatting! Being home without adults, makes me pretty talkative ;-) Good luck!!

Thanks!

Wow, I can't even imagine 2000. When I hit 100 I thought I arrived. It is so much fun there. It's kind-of funny to see the news media just catching up to it and all of them trying to jump on the bandwagon. I actually saw one say, "We twittered first."

Thanks!

I think I've gained a lot of followers from WeFollow.com. Definitely sign up for it! I'm #25, woo.
