Hi All,
So I really like the concept of the fan page on facebook. But I cannot wrap my head around the landing page thing. Is this a document that you create and add/insert to the fan page. I want to create my own landing page as funds are not available to have another VA do it for me. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Hi Jenn,

I stumbled upon a couple of websites that helped me learn how to create facebook pages and then change the names of the tabs. I have given you the links below. I just took some graphics that I created and posted them to the pages as images. To be honest, my site is sometimes the last thing I have time to work on. So, it is not very impressive.

The links above are great. Also know that you don't have to pay the earth to get a great Welcome Page. Do your research but many VA's charge just $35.00. (like me hehe)

Def give it a go first though, you never know you may discover a hidden talent.

I know that I can get thru the creation of the fan page. Can you tell me when creating the welcome/landing page is this done all in html or can I use something else? I thougth I heard or read that you can insert a jpeg file? I have many potential clients that would benefit from this but I have to understand it and be able to do a quality job first.

Hi Jenn

Yes you can upload a JPEG.
Remembering that it be no wider than 520pix.

You will still need to know HTML coding to add the picture in and have somewhere to upload the picture and host is (photobucket)

Erin, what software are you using to make these welcome pages? Also, why do I need a host site for the picture? Man, this is a lot more than I thought it would be.

I use photoshop
It is not easy- took me ages to perfect it and now I complete many many other Businesses
Well you need the html to add your pic, you can not just upload a pic like a normal file, it needs to be all in HTML (FBML)

Thank you for such a quick reponse!!! I think I have photo shop but a very old version. Will have to upgrade that!! My dad knows html so will have to get him to give me a crash course.
