Hi,

I am interested adding the Facebook Fan Box on my website. I think this is a great way to connect people to my Facebook page from my company website. However, I've tried and tried to put it on my page, and am having no luck.

I have checked the code that I copied and pasted, and it is in the right place. My sitebuilder says it is javascript enabled and PHP enabled.

I have tried looking at my website using different providers (IE version 8 and Chrome). Chrome is supposed to be very compatible with JavaScript. Still, no luck.

Anyone else having this problem? I might just give up and take it off the website...

Thanks!!!

Yeah it only shows your name...Without looking at what you have copied...it is a little difficult to see. You click on the place on FB to copy your code and copied the same code in your site? It should work...I have heard some people say that you sometimes have to paste it a couple of times to work. If you want to PM me more info, I would be willing to look at it for you.

It can be tricky, you're right. Try generating the code again and paste it again, I managed it to work but only after a few try outs.

I got it working after a couple of tries too. I think it's still got some glitches to it but it does work. It's frustrating but keep trying!

Facebook seems to have some glitches with the widget. One of my clients went back to the badge after trying unsuccessfully trying to put it on her page by herself. I had to try 2 times before the coding actually works. Patience is a virtue and persistence certainly does pay off, in this instance.
