Question Can't Seem to Post Articles from Share Directly to my Facebook Fan Page - Virtual Assistant Forums

#1 (**permalink**) 10-30-2009

Everytime I want to post an article to my facebook fan page using Share or any other sharing option, it takes me to my personal facebook profile. I can't seem to locate the option to post to my FF page.

Thank you.

Janine, did you check your settings? You may be able to change/edit this from your settings..

Hi JoCarole,

I don't see anything in my settings. Hmmm...I know this is obvious but can't put a finger on it.

Thanks,

Janine

Janine,

If you are using the share feature from someone's blog where you click the button then it will post to your profile. At this time there is no option to share to a fan page, at least that I am aware of.

EDIT: Here is what facebook has to say about using the share button:

I'm with Erin. I don't think this option exist for using Share to post directly to a fan page. Share is set to register with a personal profile as your personal profile has the ability to allow the application or not.

Thank you all for your great responses.

Let me ask you this...once I click the share from an article site or someone else's blog, it takes me to the fb profile, as we know...then, from that profile is it possible to select something there to direct me to the fan page to post the article?
