Canada - EI Special Benefits for the Self-Employed
Employment insurance special benefits for self-employed Canadians! This includes maternity, parental, sickness and compassionate care benefits and started in January of this year I believe.
Definitely look into it to see if you are eligible. There is a minimum amount of self-employed earnings to qualify. The site says that minimum amount may change each year.
