Exclamation Security Alert - don't just recycle or donate your scanner/copier
With identity theft at an all time high, I’m sure all of us are careful to shred personal documents before recycling and even wiping out hard drives on computers. But have you even given a thought to your copy machine and scanners??

This CBS segment gives shocking facts on digital security.

Very interesting and definitely not something I would have even thought of as a potential risk. Thanks for the warning!

Interesting. I passed this on to past employer that is in the mortgage insurance business. Who would have thought to look into the scanner for a hard drive.

Wow. Never would have thought to look there.

When it's time to recycle ours, I'll definitely be sure to remove that drive.

Thank you so much!
