It has taken nearly two weeks but my site has hit page 3. Not as good as page 1 but better than page 4! I'll keep tweaking my SEO and keywords til I get the right mix.

Just thought I'd share....I was pretty excited about my first attempt!

Keep busy!

Congratulations Fiona, it will be #1 before you know.

Two weeks and that's it? I am forced to ask how you did it. Mine doesn't show up in the first 5. After that I stop looking. lol.

Well, Not sure what or if there is a magix answer. But here is what I did.

Added SEO Meta tags and keywords to my site.
Added Google Analytics
Added Google Webmaster Tools
Added a Sitemap
Advertised with any and all 'free' online advertisers I could find.

That's it I think.

I keep trying to add to my Samurai twitter/facebook and blogs when I can.

If you google my name directly 'Samurai Office Services' I am at number one and 2 through a couple of my online ads..

But if you google Virtual Assistant Brisbane I am at page 3.

It's a work in progress.

Good luck!

Fiona

Thanks for tips Fiona. I haven't done anything with the webmaster tools or adding a sitemap. I'll look into it

Well after checking, I am number one by googling list 2 close and by virtual assistant sebring ohio, so that is great news. lol. I'm hoping for a page 5 or so from more generic links, such as real estate virtual assitant. I will keep trying! lol
