Thanks Tess for this is extremely helpful post. It certainly helped get my head around some issues I have with understanding SEO and I appreciate your simplified answers and approach.

To me, SEO has become a minefield of confusing and often times, conflicting, information and with so many "experts" out there, it is no wonder some (myself included) have a hard time with it all.
