The webinar was fantastic! I picked up a few great tips -- yet have to admit that some of what was going on was a bit over my head.

One really great tip was to list your business on Yelp, which is free. Rand also mentioned that having your business registered with your Better Business Bureau is a really smart thing to do. I checked into that, but there is a yearly fee. But still great idea!

I'd love to hear what others picked up yesterday.

It was a great webinar with tons of information.

I'm curious Patty, what is the annual fee for BBB?

I loved how Rand explained the differences between traditional marketing (Interruption Based Messaging) vs Organic Marketing. In other words, when you look for a new product or service how many of you are prompted to buy because of an ad you saw which was paid by the vendor, compared with looking online and making a decision based on reviews and recommendations? Food for thought, especially given that it's usually free marketing.

He also recommended using www.getlisted.org. You put in your business name and location and it shows you where you are currently listed and where you are not - so you can add your business if appropriate.

Thanks again for the heads-up on this webinar, Tess.
