Thanks everyone for the great responses! I think the most valuable lesson I learned from this is to know my own worth. I don't think I would have been able to come out and ask for the $1,000 retainer, but to hear her say "hey, your service is worth it to me" is great, and has really given me the confidence to ask for it again. That all being said, she is working me like a dog!

I sent my resume to 2 different realtors who advertised for p/t admin positions and got 2 interviews out of it.
