Default SendOutCards Marketing?
I am hoping that someone has some feedback, good or bad, on a company that one of the women I do work for has just joined. The company is SendOutCards and she is using it for her marketing. She learned of them at a ShortSaleGenius convention that she went to recently. As I have seen her taken advantage of more than once, I was wondering if any of you have done work for an agent who uses this company.

As for what they do, I'm still not sure. I have asked for some info and they just say that they are providing a list and then we will be sending out cards. Have any of you worked with their marketing system?

Janet

Hi Janet,
I handle SOC accounts for several of my clients and have been doing so for about 1.5 years. They are reputable and provide a good marketing service. I hope this helps, but if you have any further questions, please feel free to email me at meldemire@marsvirtualassistant .com.

Re: SendOutCards Marketing?
I have a regular mailing campaign with a really cute postcard. Problem is, in order to get a good price on the cards I have to order at least 250, 500 is better. Also, I sometimes want a more customized message for 50 businesses, not 500.

To work around this, I had my graphic artist delete all the message text of my postcard & save it to a jpg file. I uploaded it to SOC & now, I just drop in a text box with my personalized message, select who to send it to, click a button & my card is mailed the next day. I can do one card or 500.

For a large mailing it cost more to use SOC. But when you add up the cost of labels & the time it takes to print them & to stamp your cards, there is something very appealing about the idea of clicking a button & presto! Your mailing campaign is off your desk!

For my own business, I love SOC. It's a great way to say thanks to your clients. I recently sent brownies to my first client on our third month anniversary & she said they were some of the best brownies she's ever had.

on edit: I didn't realize SOC sold mailing lists. Is that what you're asking about?

I'm just starting to get an idea of what we are doing with SOC. It's a new program that was released at a seminar for real estate agents. I'm a little in the dark still, and just started editing the three cards that they have created.

Lezly, I guess they took the area codes that were chosen by the agent that I do work for and have created a mailing list. They take it from there; address, mail, and stamp.

When I started this thread, I didn't realize that it was a brand new company that just happens to use SOC to create the cards. Pricey too. But, from what I gather, if this marketing campaign works out it would have been worth it. I just see agents taken advantage of and was looking for some feedback. Thanks everyone.

I've read several posts about this "Send Out Card" Marketing? Is this pricey? Can you use your own graphics, or do they have generic ones? I thought this was a "greeting card" service? Do they also send out postcards?
Thanks for the info!!
