[Press Release] Virtual Assistant Forums Hosts Free Event for Members: Your WordPress Website (Oct 23, 2009)

Virtual Assistant Forums Hosts Free Event for Members: Your WordPress Website

This month, Christina Nelson of Vital Office Solutions shares her expertise in WordPress in the Virtual Assistant Forums Chatroom. Nelson will show virtual assistants how to utilize the free WordPress platform to create a high-quality blog or Website.

Scotia, NY

As small business solopreneurs many Virtual Assistants seek to complement their business development by taking advantage of free marketing resources. However, free doesn't always equal 'quality', especially when it comes to websites. In order to be viewed as a professional service provider, a well-presented business website is crucial. WordPress, an extremely flexible blog and CMS software, gives Virtual Assistants the opportunity to present that professional online persona and leverage the marketing potential of a high-quality business website at no cost. Developing a website in WordPress gives a website owner the freedom to control the look of their site, as well as make basic updates, without the assistance of a costly programmer.

Dubbed one of Virtual Assistant Forums' "resident WordPress gurus", community member Christina Nelson generously shares her expertise and knowledge in all things WordPress by answering other members' questions and concerns in forum threads on a regular basis. Now, as the VAF guest expert for October, she takes that generosity one step further; teaching her fellow Virtual Assistants how to create their own WordPress blogs and websites on October 23rd, at 6:00 pm EST in the Virtual Assistant Forums Chatroom at /chatbox. When asked what the best option for VAs and other small business owners looking for a quality website on a budget, Christina states, "Using WordPress as the foundation for your website means you have unlimited options in design and set-up, as well as plenty of room to expand as needed."

As a special gift, one lucky member in attendance at the live chat event will receive a complimentary WordPress theme, customized by Christina (not including installation).
