It must take a lot of guts to do a press release!

I don't mind doing one if it was done in unknown places such as anywhere but where I live! LoL. I guess that is an issue I gotta work on - it is a fear of people who knows of me would know if I were to fail or in the beginning stage of my business as a VA. I don't mind once my businses is a success.

Silly, I know but it's as real as day and night!

Good job on your PR (pretty picture!) and now get to work on finding that first client! *winks*

No guts necessary. This press release is basically online. People from all over the world view it. I doubt anyone who actually knows me has seen it. Go to www.prlog.org. It was really easy. I just used mainly info from my website. I decided to use the photo to make me seem more *real*.

Thanks for the feed back. It's had over 50 hits so far. But still no clients

I know, I know, good things come to those who wait. I'm an optimist!

Side note: my business cards arrived yesterday and they look great.

Yvonne, press releases are a great way to get your company name out there and not at all intimidating (I promise!) plus, it's great practice at writing professionally.

Congrats on the cards Danielle - it's always fun to get that first box of business cards...makes it all the more official!
