Hello all - I am VERY new to the VA scene but I did find a FANTASTIC and FREE tool with PRlog.org.

I created a Press Release about opening my VA business with all the good details and keywords and set a release date and time. Within 1 day of the release I had 73 hits and it was second listed on all major search engines with the keyword search "Virtual Assistant for small business!

If you are looking for a free way to promote your business I HIGHLY recommend creating PR on www.PRlog.org.

I do hope all of you are finding success!!

Perfect timing and great contribution! It is on my list to do another PR this weekend. I'll have to try this out.

Thanks for the tip. I'm coming up to my one year anniversary of becoming a full-time consultant so it's a tool I might use for that occasion.

Pam- Let me know what you think of it. This could be a great tool for my first PR.

Thanks!

TIffani

Very interested to read about this. I'm about to launch a second business which will be complementary to my VA work. It's a concierge business aimed at high net worth executives. I'll give this PR tool a try when I launch.

@Tiffani ---- I went and looked at the website over the weekend and, I don't know...I got a gut feeling and first reaction was a feeling that made me wonder if they aren't harvesting content. I could be totally off base, but since my gut comes from THE most reliable of sources I know that I need to research them and explore further to check on their legitimacy. Just sayin'

Thanks Tammi for the information and the HIGH recommendation of PRLog.org. I am going to try this out and the best part about it, is that it is still a free service. Thanks again and best of luck with your business.
