Appointment Setting as a service - special phone system?
Hi my fellow VAs,
This question is for those that offer appointment setting as a service. I am thinking about offering appointment setting as a service. I am familiar with services such as Google Voice, but I wonder if this is feasible if you provide appointment setting for several different clients. Is there a special telephone system program that you use for receiving calls, or is the client's business line forwarded to your business line? Any suggestions and clarity is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lynn

Re: Appointment Setting as a service - special phone system?
Hello,
I offer appointment setting services in a couple of different fashions.
1 - If they provide me the leads I only charge $12 an hour and $20 per held appointment.
2 - If I provide the leads I charge $15 per hour and $20 per held appointment.
Both options require a 10 hour pre-purchased time block each month. I also do a follow up "survey" with the appointment to confirm the appoint took place or if missed I reschedule and notify my client.
Hope this helps!

Re: Appointment Setting as a service - special phone system?
Hi Ladies,
Thought I would throw some additional ideas - I am looking into an 800 service - where I assign a client an 800 number that is forwarded to my landline / office phone and I include the expense as part of the service.
I am still researching this method will keep updates!

Re: Appointment Setting as a service - special phone system?
This is a great issue to raise up. I was thinking of offering appointment services as a part of my services to clients. I was wondering how I was going to get this set up. The Google Voice sounds like a great idea; that way I can plug the appointments in with my GCalendar.

Re: Appointment Setting as a service - special phone system?
I have doing some research into this topic myself. I have been looking at using a free service from www.switchboardfree.com to provide a number not linked to my home address and is also available to be redirected to a mobile. I have also been looking at using vcita.com to provide a booking system.
Hope this helps.

It really depends on the clients preference. If they want you to utilize their existing line then it would need to be forwarded to you. This however would not help for having outgoing calls show the clients business number
Generally I have my clients set up a RingCentral line that way we all have full control.

vcita.com looks fantastic. I'm based in Australia so the switchboard site probably isn't for me but I am definately excited about vcita! Thanks for the share.
