Which software is it thats a trial?

Outright is a great program. Just wish it could initiate invoices. Then I would be a happy camper. Good luck!

I have to admit, it would be convenient for invoices. But this way I can brand my invoices.

I always get my downloads from Downloads.com It is a safe, legitimate site. Go there and do a search for Quickbooks Simple Start Free. You will get the download page. A couple of things to note about the free edition......it has limits on the number of clients, it has limits on the things it will do and it is bundled with a toolbar. When downloading, make sure you uncheck the toolbar...unless you want it.

That said, Simple Start is a GREAT, free bookkeeping program! If you use it, make sure you backup your information!

Another good online accounting program, which is quite reasonably priced, is WorkingPoint. http://www.workingpoint.com/.

They have plans for:

• $9 month or $99 if paid for full year up front (Lightning)
• $19 month or $190 if paid full year up front (Thunderstorm)

The higher plan (Thunderstorm) also has the ability to invoice with PayPal.

Alternatively a pretty good totally free online accounting program is Nimia. It has many features, but seems a little "rough around the edges". http://www.numia.biz/.

It's "in the cloud", very easy to set up and running. You can give access to your team or CPA separately to different parts of the program, or to all. It's comprehensive and adaptable to our industry.
