Personally no, and right now I'm not planning on it. Every website you visit wants you to sign up for a newsletter and most of it you won't read anyway because you're far too busy with professional and personal responsibilities. I have a few I subscribe to - the local Business Centre, Website Magazine, VA Today and a couple of techie ones I've been with for years. Most of those I read when I get around to it ... there are only so many hours to get everything done between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. seven days a week.

It is so easy these days to fall into the trap of "information overload", which is stressful and takes your time away from what has to be done every day. Pick 3 or 4 that you find really interesting and read them when you have a few minutes. Spending oodles of time reading newsletters is burning up the time you could be networking, attending events and gaining clients. Just my personal thoughts.

Lynne

This is a great post. I have signed up for Mary's newsletter and look forward to receiving others. Thanks for sharing.

I am a current subscriber to a few of the newsletters listed in this thread and for the ones I am not, I will most certainly sign up.

I just launched a newsletter for my business called Visions - where I will be sharing some multimedia tips and information once a month to my subscribers. And because I enjoy audio and video so much; some of the content will be in audio and video format.

You can sign up for my newsletter by going to my website (link in my signature).Sign-up is in the lower right hand side portion of the home page.

I'd love to see this list continue to grow - if you publish a newsletter for your VA practice, please post a reply here with a bit of info on what your focus is, how often you publish, and where we can sign up!

Well I finally broke down and added a sign up form to my website and another on my blog

It's taken me this long because I am NOT a writer but, I realized I have so much info to share that it was better to share it than keep it to myself just because I may forget how to use a comma once in awhile. lol

On my website you can sign up for my monthly newsletter geared towards helping the new entrepreneur with their website and many other things.

On the blog, you can sign up to have Wordpress tips sent to your inbox each week for 6 weeks (with an unadvertised bonus at the end of the six weeks)

If you sign up for either (or both) could you do me a favor and shoot me an email with things you like/don't like.

Thanks a Bunch!

It has been several months but things finally slowed down just enough for me to post the latest edition of The Typing Bug Gazette. Check it out at: www.typingbug.com/gazette.html

Hi,

I've gone through your website...
Wow, your site is interesting !
Cheers,
Joyce A.

I liked your newsletter. The title with the little bug eyes is very cute.

Your website is very different - I like it! I love your little grasshopper guy. And I am green with envy over your mini-Cooper! How cool is that? Do you get a lot of comments & in the end, any clients, from your car?

Thanks for sharing, Deneen!
