Greeting to new friends! I am seriously thinking of beginning my own VA business. I am in the process of research and planning. I am very happy to have found a forum with like-minded people to help me on my journey. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be able to help other newbies in their journey as well.
Right now, I am sort of lurking around looking at all the forum topics. What a treasure of information!!!

I have a general studies degree and experience over the last twenty-some years as a ceritfied paralegal, teacher, director of programming for 10 libraries, executive assistant and office administrator. I think it is time I put all that experience to work for myself and my own business.

I look forward to talking with you all!

Well hello and welcome Ms. Janet
So nice of you to join us here at the forums as you begin to build your new virtual assistance practice!

Feel free to lurk, or post, as the mood strikes and I'll look forward to hearing further from you in the near future

Ms. Janet - There's no doubt that it's time you got something out of all your previous hard work. And, as a brand newbie in this biz, I can tell you it's more exciting than anything before ... Basically, a VA uses all her skills and abilities, does work she actually enjoys, and is simply an entrepreneur who happens to be an administrator. At long last, office workers are reclaiming their self-respect and independence! Go for it!

Hello Janet! Wow! A fellow Louisianian - fantastic! Where are you located? I'm in Opelousas & have not found very many VAs from my home state, but I'm sure they're out here - somewhere. I hope your VA plans are going well!

Best wishes!
