Default Just starting out
My name is Debra, and I am in the process of starting a VA business. I have been working for about 2 years in a public library but really feel that my calling is to be a work at home mom. I have many years of administrative assistant experience and feel that being a VA would be the best route to take. I have a great, supportive husband and three kids that are very excited about Mom working at home. I really look forward to learning from all of the seasoned VA's.

Hi Debra, welcome I always thought it would be such a fun job to work among all the books and media in the library. But you're right that being a VA is great too!

Have you started brainstorming the services you'd like to offer?

Welcome, Debra!

I actually studied Library Science in college and worked in a public library for a while, which was fun, but I agree that being a work at home mom would be much more fulfilling!

That's great that your husband is supportive and that your kids are excited to have you home - maybe they'll be willing to "help" with special projects.

Good to have you here - the members of this forum are very helpful and you're sure to find all the info you need to get up and running. Good luck!
