So excited to be here!

I've been lurking for several days now {stalking the "Policies & Procedures" forum in particular...} and finally have a moment to introduce myself!

I currently live in AL {although I'm not from here, have to make that distinction...} and I've been working as a VA for about a year, even though I didn't know it...

I do social media management for a PR firm in AZ as an independent contractor. The bad part? I looked at it as an employer/employee relationship and totally undersold myself and didn't make sure the "right" stuff was in my contract.

At my husband's urging, I'm finally making it all official and working on striking out on my own.

In a previous life I did bookkeeping, was a pastry chef, owned a custom cake business in Seattle, was a chef at radio personality Delilah's cafe in WA, and now I'm a homeschooling work-at-home mom.

Can't wait to learn and contribute!
