I was all ready to get start my web hosting with Host Gator and work on my WP site; unfortunately, I hit a financial snafu which set me back.

I am just anxious to get my VA website up so that I can start promoting and marketing myself and hopefully start drumming up some business. I need to start bringing in some income ASAP!

So it looks like it's a freebie with Weebly for now, (or maybe Microsoft Live, not sure). I'm just hoping that when I am ready to make the switch I will not have any problems or issues in redirecting my domain name to a new web host.

I am still determined to go the WP route not only because of all the great things I've heard about it, but also because I want to learn it to the point that maybe it can be another service I can eventually offer.

I use Freehostia for two of my websites and I am on the free plan right now and use it to host one WP site. So far, so good. The only problem I have now is that I need to use a contact form, and I've learned that I need a fully functioning email address- @mysite.com in order for it all to work together. And of course, to get the fully functioning email address, I need to upgrade. But still, the upgrade is only around $30/year. That's not bad.
