Virtual Assistant Cost Comparison Calculator Updated

VAs, we've updated the Virtual Assistant Cost Comparison Calculator so that the underlying code architecture is more modern. The calculator itself looks the same.

Note: if you already have the calculator installed on your site or blog, don't worry - it *will* work as-is and you do not have to make any changes for it to continue to function. However, if you'd like to ensure you have the latest version we do suggest that you visit the calculator page to customize your calculator again and pick up the new (updated) code to re-install on your website.

If you have any questions feel free to respond directly to this thread.

This may sound like an odd question, but is there a way to move the calculator below the text? When I paste the code into my website, and view it, it cuts part of the calcultor off (due to a 'Recent Comment' section that is part of my webpage.
Not sure if the question makes sense, I'm not sure how to word it to explain why I'm having issues!

Hi LaVon, thanks for posting your question - it makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, the calculator is hard coded to ensure consistency and it isn't something that can be modulated at the current time.

One thing you can try doing to add some space between the bottom of the calculator and the bottom of your page or post is to add a few line breaks after the calculator code. Like this:

[Calculator code....]

<br /><br /><br />

Try starting with three line breaks, and add more as needed until you get the spacing right.

I cannot get the calculator to show on my webpage. I paste the code into a text box and only the code displays. I know I'm doing something wrong but don't know what. Please help!

Ok. I finally got the calculator to post to my page but now the calculator is cut off. Is there anyway to change the pixel code so that it will fit on my page? Thanks!

As mentioned above the calculator is hard coded to ensure consistency - have you tried placing it higher up on the page? Adding line breaks beneath the calculator to elongate the page beneath it?

Can you post a link to the page with the calculator? Also, what kind of website are you adding it to (WordPress, straight HTML, something else?)

Could someone please check the cost calculator - I don't think the code is coming out right. Here's what I got to paste into my website. When I go to view, it just shows the image & that's it.
