PTS, I used to work for a well known medical facility as a medical records tech, so I truly understand your pain. Prior to being a medical records tech I was employed with the largest hospital in Alabama in a variety of positions for over ten years. At one point they hired a contract company to do their billing and transcription, recently I heard that they have outsourced all of their billing and transcription to a company out of the country.

I really hope that revamping your business will bring you the income & clients that are needed! Much success.

I think this poll will be enlightening! My newest client is a political candidate. I honestly never thought to market to the political arena. The CM saw my work with someone else and made me an offer I couldn't refuse lol

Interesting to think about all the potential business areas that could use VA services.

I work for the professional services sector - and haven't thought about all the possibilities.

Coaches, definitely. Most of my clients are coaches and in fact other Virtual Assistants need another VA support. That is why I also market myself as a VA's VA.

I just hired a Virtual Seo Assistant for my website...So I would say SEO....

My primary niche is coaches, authors, speakers (usually a single person falls into all three of those!) but I also work with Insurance Reps, Interior Designer, and a Construction Company.

I'm still in the start up phase and am not actively trying to find clients (I am responding to people I'm truly interested in working with), but some of the RFP's I've responded to, and referrals other VA friends have sent me have been a couple of coaches, and one person who in addition to a regular job has several online businesses.
