Default Let Today's GoDaddy Fiasco Be a Lesson :)
I've been saying for years...never have your website hosted in the same place as where you have your domains registered. I have purchased domains through either GoDaddy or NameCheap, but every one of them points to my hosting provider...Hostgator.

Wow...apparently a lot of websites down due to this. I've included one great article that I think sums up some things nicely. Also - go check out Mashable for additional, reliable information.
